Nigel Kennedy Breaks Arm in Bicycle Accident

British violinist Nigel Kennedy has broken his arm in a bicycle accident in London, reports MusicalAmerica.com.

The website quotes his press agent as saying he had "suffered injury to his left arm in an accident"; he will be unable to perform for the next few weeks. His concerts have been cancelled through the end of November and he has reportedly been advised not to use him arm for six weeks.

Kennedy was due to give a tour including Germany, Japan, Cardiff, London and Paris performing parts of Blue Note Sessions, his recent debut jazz album.
